How to define/delimit/outline a drainage basin. (step 2)

The second step is to define the primary drainage network.  On topographic maps, primary rivers and streams are shown as solid and dashed blue lines.  You can highlight the rivers and streams located in your drainage basin by tracing over them.

Be sure to extend the drainage network as appropriate on your map.
