Take the graph from p. 335, fold down the top, and lay it across the map on p. 334 from A to A' and mark it with the earthquakes at the indicated depths using the key on page 333. (The first three sets are marked, you should mark the last four sets.)
When you have completed this part, draw an elongated circle around the points and you will mark the approximate location of the subducting lithosphere.
